We are currently looking for a Design Manager for a major exciting project at San Francisco International Airport. The ideal candidate will have experience in design, wayfinding or other similar work and be a good project manager.
Are you an excellent communicator, able to work with a large team to deliver a design-build project? If so, then we are looking for you to join our amazing team! This position will be supporting the design team on a very large airport project. This is a full-time position located at San Francisco International Airport.
Desirable qualifications:
- Experienced in large infrastructure projects, preferably with SFO, airports or related infrastructure
- The Stakeholder Engagement Process (SEP) manager/design manager should have experience managing multi-disciplined design teams through the programming and design of complex building renovation and expansion projects.
- The SEP manager/design manager should be collaborative, innovative and able to guide the team toward the production of complete construction documents being mindful of scope, budget, and schedule.
- Ability to interface with SFO Management team, multiple teams/projects and report back
- Good communicator and good project manager
- Ability to manage multiple tracks, assist with decision making and reporting back from meetings
- Managed large project in the past ten years
- Previous San Francisco International airport or airport and design-build experience desirable
- Proficient using Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) and other CM software and systems
