Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and licensed Commercial Electrician to join our growing team. Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings, including high-voltage wiring and low-voltage systems.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute precise wiring and system layouts.
- Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics on complex electrical systems using tools such as ohmmeters and power tools to identify issues quickly and accurately.
- Ensure all work complies with NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association standards), NEC (National Electrical Code), and local electrical codes for safety and code adherence.
- Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely while adhering to electrical safety procedures and protocols.
- Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for industrial automation tasks, ensuring seamless operation of industrial electrical systems.
- Collaborate on renovation projects and construction sites, applying schematics reading skills and construction experience to deliver quality results efficiently.
Qualifications
- Valid electrician license with proven experience in commercial electrical systems installation and maintenance.
- Demonstrated industrial electrician experience with a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
- Hands-on experience with high-voltage electrical wiring, low-voltage systems, and industrial automation components like PLCs.
- Familiarity with NFPA 70 compliance standards, NEC regulations, and local electrical codes.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams accurately.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment essential for electrical diagnostics.
- Construction site experience with renovation projects or new builds; familiarity with blueprint reading is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of electrical safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment at all times.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills for diagnosing complex electrical issues across various systems.
- Additional handyman or frame carpentry experience is advantageous for versatile project support.

Pay: $45.00 - $49.00 per hour
