Opportunity Overview
We are seeking a personable, self-motivated Apartment Leasing Agent to support our leasing needs on an as-needed basis. This is an opportunity for an experienced leasing professional who enjoys flexible work, meeting prospective residents, and earning commission based on successful leases.
What You’ll Do
· Respond to prospective resident inquiries by phone, email, text, and in person.
· Conduct professional apartment and community tours.
· Explain available floor plans, rental terms, amenities, move-in requirements, and community policies.
· Follow up consistently with prospects to help convert interest into completed applications and leases.
· Assist applicants through the leasing process and collect required documentation.
· Maintain accurate prospect, tour, and leasing activity records.
What We’re Looking For
· Prior apartment leasing, property management, sales, or customer-service experience preferred.
· Strong communication, follow-up, and relationship-building skills.
· Comfort working independently and managing a flexible, variable schedule.
· Professional appearance and a customer-first mindset.
· Ability to use leasing software, email, text messaging, and basic office tools.
· Reliable transportation to travel to assigned properties.
Compensation
This position is commission only. Compensation is earned for qualifying leases that result from your leasing efforts.
· No guaranteed hourly wage or salary.
· Commission amount, eligibility requirements, payment timing, and any chargeback terms will be provided in writing before work begins.
Employment or independent-contractor classification will be determined by the company in accordance with applicable law.
