We are seeking a dependable and hardworking EVS Tech to join our team! This role plays an important part in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, visitors, and staff. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work and help ensure our facility remains welcoming and sanitary.
Position Summary
The Housekeeping / Laundry Aide is responsible for performing daily housekeeping and laundry services to maintain cleanliness throughout the facility while following infection control and safety guidelines.
Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust assigned areas of the facility
Collect and dispose of trash and biohazard waste according to facility policy
Follow proper infection control procedures when cleaning resident areas
Wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident clothing and facility linens
Sort laundry according to facility procedures and labeling guidelines
Ensure laundry equipment is used safely and maintained properly
Deliver clean linens to appropriate units and maintain linen supply levels
Respond promptly to housekeeping requests from staff or residents
Follow safety procedures and proper use of cleaning chemicals
Maintain a respectful and professional attitude with residents and coworkers
Previous housekeeping or laundry experience preferred (healthcare setting a plus)
Ability to follow cleaning and infection control procedures
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Strong attention to detail
Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25–50 lbs as needed
Must be dependable and able to work as part of a team
