The JV Boys Soccer Coach is responsible for providing leadership, instruction, and supervision to student-athletes while supporting the overall goals of the BFA Fairfax Boys Soccer program. The coach will work collaboratively with the Varsity Head Coach and Athletic Department to promote skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive educational athletics experience.Qualifications: Previous coaching and/or playing experience preferred.Strong communication and organizational skills.Ability to work effectively with high school student-athletes.Commitment to sportsmanship, student development, and education-based athletics.Must meet all Vermont Principals Association (VPA) and Franklin West Supervisory Union/BFA Fairfax coaching requirements, including required certifications and trainings.Successful completion of required background checks.Responsibilities include: Organizing and conducting JV practices and competitions.Teaching fundamental skills, strategies, and rules of soccer.Supporting the development of student-athletes for the varsity level.Working closely with the Varsity Head Coach to maintain consistency throughout the program.Maintaining a safe, positive, and inclusive team environment.Following all school, district, and VPA policies and expectations.
