Position Overview
We are seeking a Floor Supervisor who can lead front-of-house operations with professionalism, urgency, and accountability. This role is responsible for ensuring smooth daily service, maintaining service standards, and supporting staff performance during high-volume shifts.
This is a hands-on leadership role—you will be actively involved on the floor, guiding the team, resolving issues in real time, and ensuring guests have a seamless dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Floor Management
- Oversee daily front-of-house operations during assigned shifts
- Ensure smooth guest flow, including waitlist management and seating efficiency
- Maintain strong awareness of dining room activity at all times
- Step in to assist staff during peak hours to maintain service speed
Team Leadership
- Supervise servers, hosts, and support staff to ensure accountability and performance
- Reinforce service standards and expectations consistently
- Provide real-time coaching and feedback to staff
- Address performance issues and document when necessary
Guest Experience
- Handle guest concerns professionally and resolve issues promptly
- Ensure high-quality service standards are met across all tables
- Monitor guest satisfaction and proactively improve service flow
Standards & Compliance
- Enforce cleanliness, organization, and operational standards
- Ensure staff follow company policies and procedures
- Support implementation of SOPs and management directives
Communication & Reporting
- Communicate effectively with management regarding shift performance and issues
- Assist in documenting incidents, staff performance, and operational challenges
- Support execution of team meetings and daily briefings when needed
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant leadership experience required (Supervisor, Lead Server, or similar)
- Experience in high-volume or all-you-can-eat concepts preferred
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to hold staff accountable
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to stay composed and decisive in fast-paced environments
- Flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
