Business Operations Manager

We are seeking an exceptional Business Operations Manager to oversee the financial, administrative, and operational functions of our growing company. This is not an entry-level office position. We are looking for a highly experienced professional who can independently manage the day-to-day administrative operations of the business with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
Full-cycle bookkeeping and accounting
Accounts payable and accounts receivable
Bank and credit card reconciliations
Assist with payroll processing
Audit employee time clock records and payroll accuracy
Coordinate with accountants and CPAs
Handle IRS correspondence and tax-related matters
Maintain business licenses, permits, and compliance requirements
Follow up with government agencies, attorneys, accountants, and vendors
Maintain organized financial and business records
Manage insurance renewals and business documentation
Prepare financial and operational reports for ownership
Improve office systems, procedures, and organization
Ensure deadlines are met and projects are followed through to completion
Perform additional administrative and operational duties as needed
Minimum Qualifications
5–10+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, business operations, or office administration
Advanced QuickBooks experience
Strong accounting and bookkeeping knowledge
Payroll experience
Experience handling IRS notices, permits, licensing, and compliance
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Exceptional organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
High level of integrity and professionalism
Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
