About the Role
As a Retail Sales Associate, you'll be a key point of contact for customers on the sales floor and at checkout. You'll help shoppers find what they need, share product knowledge, and deliver friendly, attentive service. Your goal is to ensure every customer leaves with a positive impression of their shopping experience.
What You'll Do
Customer Service & Sales
- Greet customers warmly and offer assistance as they shop
- Help customers find products, answer questions, and make recommendations
- Share information about pricing, promotions, and store policies
- Process transactions accurately using the POS system (cash, card, mobile, gift cards)
- Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds according to store policy
- Resolve basic customer concerns and escalate issues to a supervisor when needed
Sales Floor & Operational Support
- Restock shelves, displays, and fixtures to keep the store full and shoppable
- Maintain clean, organized, and well-merchandised displays
- Assist with price checks, item lookups, and coupon/discount application
- Follow loss-prevention and store procedures during transactions
- Keep the checkout and sales floor areas tidy and stocked with supplies
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with fellow associates, cashiers, and management to keep the store running smoothly
- Communicate inventory or pricing discrepancies to the appropriate team
- Step in to support different areas of the store as needed during busy periods
- Participate in training and team meetings
What We're Looking For

- Ability to handle cash and basic math accurately
- Comfortable using a POS system and learning new software
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask during busy periods
- Reliable, punctual, and able to stand and move for extended periods

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Previous retail, sales, or customer service experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for motivated candidates.
