Cem-Base is a growing soil stabilization contractor based in Northeast Ohio and is seeking an experienced Foreman to join our team. We perform work throughout Ohio and the surrounding states on commercial, industrial, municipal, and heavy civil construction projects.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate, manage, and oversee commercial, industrial, municipal, and residential construction projects from start to finish.
- Lead, supervise and direct field crews while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
- Read and interpret construction plans, grading plans, and DOT specifications.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, production quantities and job documentation.
- Communicate project progress and schedule with project team.
- Coordinate daily material deliveries and subcontractor activities.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
- Travel as needed and comply with all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as graders, dozers, excavators, backhoes, and rollers.
- Ability to lead, mentor, and train equipment operators and laborers.
- Strong math, written communication, and computer skills.
- Understanding of earthwork, grading, soil stabilization, and/or paving operations.
- Ability to understand site elevations and grade control.
- Ability to read and interpret civil construction and grading plans.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
