ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Maintain safety standards while operating and identify unsafe practices and situations
Perform any miscellaneous tasks that require a forklift
Research all discrepancies after stocking receives a batch
Compare system and physical on hands
Review inventory adjustments and cross receiving
Walk the DC to locate missing freight
Inspect paperwork for keying errors
Resolve any stocking issues as it pertains to Not Expected or Max Quantity Receive error types
Accurately make the necessary corrections to batch receipts
Communicate to Inventory Control when locations have issues with Max Caps, Dimension or Inventory Discrepancies outside of batch corrections
Communicate with the Corporate teams as necessary to resolve receiving discrepancies
Team members with experience may be designated as trainers. As a trainer, take ownership of the DC target training program ensuring that all training is conducted according to schedule, and that all documentation is complete. Explain specific job duties/functions to help ensure success of new team members, as well as to convey any departmental or procedural changes to existing team members
Assist with all other related duties as assigned
SKILLS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Basic computer skills
Must complete and pass a company-standardized test
Must be able to work well in a team environment
Must be able to read and match numerical and alphabetical characters quickly and accurately
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Experience in a warehouse environment specifically with alphanumeric or RF directed stocking
Familiar with automotive parts
Advanced computer skills
