The Virtual Preparatory Academy of Florida is a K–12 tuition-free online public school serving students statewide. At VPA Florida, we provide a safe and nurturing environment where every student has the opportunity to be understood and inspired through a customized learning path that includes live interactive sessions and personalized teacher support.
The ELA Content Coach provides content-specific support to teachers in grades 3–10 to ensure consistent implementation of standards-aligned English Language Arts curriculum and appropriate instructional pacing. This position partners with teachers to monitor standards coverage and mastery, analyze student performance, maintain alignment to pacing guides, and identify standards that require additional instruction, intervention, or reinforcement.
The ELA Content Coach serves as a content-area resource to help teachers maintain a clear understanding of what students are expected to learn, what standards have been taught, what standards remain to be addressed, and where adjustments to pacing or instructional priorities may be necessary to support student achievement.
Please note – while this is an online school position and all instruction occurs virtually, travel and face to face attendance will be required several times per year to support in person state testing and student events.
