Duties
- Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery safely to move materials within the factory setting
- Use measuring instruments and technical drawings to ensure components meet specifications
- Assemble products using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical assembly techniques
- Interpret production documents, work orders, and technical drawings accurately for efficient workflow
- Conduct manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting, following safety protocols at all times
- Assist in process improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency and quality
- Manage inventory and warehouse operations, ensuring proper storage and retrieval of materials
Requirements
- Proven factory or manufacturing facility experience with familiarity in assembly line operations
- Hands-on experience with forklift operation and warehouse management systems
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to interpret technical drawings and measurements
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments used in manufacturing
- Knowledge of safety standards in production environments, including lean manufacturing principles
- Ability to manage production or assembly teams effectively while maintaining safety protocols
- Physical capability for manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control and process adherence
