What You'll Do:
- Build positive relationships with youth by encouraging good behavior, social skills, and community involvement.
- Provide daily supervision and support, ensuring emotional, physical, and developmental needs are met in a safe, structured setting.
- Engage residents in fun, meaningful activities—both structured and unstructured—to promote growth and independent living skills.
- Follow individualized treatment plans, monitor daily progress, and complete clear, timely documentation (like case notes and logs).
- Model positive behavior, assist with crisis intervention, and help create a nurturing, inclusive atmosphere.
- Collaborate closely with team members, clinical staff, and families to deliver the highest quality of care.
- Handle housekeeping tasks to keep our facility welcoming and compliant with health standards.
- Accompany youth to appointments, activities, meals, and school/work as needed. *ACTIVE Drivers License required*.
- Attend staff meetings, trainings, and share ideas to help improve our program.
Who We're Looking For:
- Someone with a big heart for helping children and youth, especially those who've experienced trauma.
- At least 21 years old with a High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience in residential care, group homes, behavioral health, or similar settings is a plus (but we're happy to train the right person!).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with diverse youth and staff.
- Ability to stay calm during challenges, using de-escalation and conflict resolution techniques.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or as needed.
- Commitment to professional boundaries, confidentiality, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Why You'll Love Working With Us:
- A friendly, family-like team that supports each other and celebrates your contributions.
- Ongoing training, workshops, and professional development to help you grow in your career.
- Clear paths for advancement—many of our leaders started right where you would!
- Meaningful work where you see the direct, positive impact you're making on young lives.
- A trauma-informed, supportive environment focused on healing and empowerment.
