We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Production Manager (Live Events) to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of live events across various venues. Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end planning and management of live events, including technical setup, staging, lighting, sound, and logistics.
- Coordinate with clients to understand their vision, provide expert guidance on event marketing strategies, and upsell additional services to enhance event impact.
- Manage event budgets meticulously, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality standards.
- Oversee vendor negotiations, contracts, catering arrangements, and hospitality services to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Utilize event management software and CRM systems to track project timelines, client communications, and post-event feedback.
- Supervise on-site teams during events, providing clear direction to technicians, hospitality staff, security personnel, and volunteers.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout all stages of event production.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to promote events effectively through various channels and maximize attendance.
- Maintain excellent customer service by addressing client needs promptly and fostering positive relationships for future collaborations.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices for upcoming projects.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in managing live events within the hospitality or entertainment industry; hotel or restaurant experience is highly desirable.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful upselling and vendor management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) along with event management software and CRM systems.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets effectively while delivering high-quality results.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Exceptional communication skills for client interaction, team leadership, and stakeholder coordination.
- Technical proficiency in audio-visual equipment, staging techniques, and event technology platforms.
- Experience in event marketing strategies including promotion planning and guest engagement initiatives.
- Hospitality industry background with knowledge of banquet operations, catering services, and guest services is advantageous.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative environment.
