Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and reliable Neighborhood Flyer Distributor to engage with local communities by delivering promotional materials directly to residents. This role is vital in building brand awareness, fostering community connections, and supporting local marketing initiatives. As a flyer distributor, you will be the face of our outreach efforts, ensuring timely and effective distribution while creating positive interactions with community members.
Duties
- Distribute flyers, brochures, and promotional materials door-to-door within designated neighborhoods using walking as the primary transportation method
- Engage face-to-face with residents to deliver messages, answer questions, and promote community events or services
- Conduct canvassing activities to identify potential new customers or community partners
- Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor during all interactions to foster positive community engagement
- Collect feedback from residents when appropriate and report on distribution progress or challenges
- Use mobile devices or apps to track delivery routes, document completed distributions, and communicate with supervisors
- Support community fundraising efforts by distributing informational materials and encouraging participation
Requirements
- Prior experience in field sales, canvassing, or outdoor marketing is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage conversationally and negotiate effectively
- Experience in customer service or face-to-face communication roles
- Ability to walk extensively in various weather conditions while carrying flyers or materials
- Bilingual skills are a plus for engaging diverse communities effectively
- Familiarity with mobile devices for tracking activities and reporting progress
- Demonstrated outdoor work experience with a proactive attitude towards community engagement
- Supervising experience is beneficial for leadership opportunities within the team
