Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Inspector/Hotel Housekeeping professional to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all guest rooms and public areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation. Your leadership skills will be vital in supervising housekeeping staff, managing cleaning operations, and maintaining a welcoming environment for our guests. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms, suites, and public spaces to ensure cleanliness, safety, and adherence to hotel standards
- Supervise and motivate housekeeping staff, providing guidance on cleaning procedures and quality expectations
- Assign daily cleaning tasks and monitor progress to ensure timely completion of duties
- Oversee activities including dusting, vacuuming, bathroom sanitation, laundry services, and restocking supplies
- Implement and enforce health and safety protocols to maintain a clean and hazard-free environment
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs or issues identified during inspections
- Maintain accurate records of room status, cleaning reports, and inspection checklists
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial services
- Strong background in cleaning, janitorial work, or commercial cleaning environments
- Experience with laundry operations within a hospitality setting is highly desirable
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively
- Knowledge of hospitality standards and customer service excellence is preferred
- Familiarity with housekeeping management systems or related software is a plus
- Prior experience in hotel or hospitality industry roles preferred
