Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Lift up to 150 pounds with hand trunk or physically lift up to 50 lbs boxes.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Familiarity with GPS devices and mapping applications is a plus.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Prior experience in package delivery or a related field is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a company-provided delivery vehicle to transport packages to residential and commercial locations within the assigned area.
- Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and accurate package deliveries while maximizing efficiency.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service by delivering packages with care and a positive attitude.
- Load and unload packages, ensuring they are securely handled to prevent damage.
- Utilize scanning technology and electronic devices to track and record delivery information.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while operating the delivery vehicle.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues or discrepancies.
