Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Medical Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive support to healthcare providers . Your expertise will help ensure smooth patient flow, accurate documentation, and exceptional patient service.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and efficiently facilitate patient intake processes, including collecting medical histories and verifying insurance information.
- Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiratory rate with precision.
- Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures by preparing equipment and ensuring a sterile environment.
- Support physicians with medication administration, wound care, and basic life support (BLS) procedures when necessary.
- Operate EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems accurately to document patient encounters, ICD coding for diagnoses, and treatment plans.
- Manage medical supplies inventory and ensure all clinical areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions, explaining treatment procedures, and ensuring comfort throughout visits.

- Support hospital medicine teams by assisting with patient admissions, discharges, and documentation for inpatient stays across various specialties.
Experience
- Prior experience working as a Medical Assistant in outpatient clinics or hospital settings is highly preferred.
- Experience in dermatology, emergency medicine, or hospital environments such as Level II trauma centers is advantageous.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, ICD coding, and medication administration is essential for success in this role.
- Demonstrated ability to operate EHR systems efficiently while maintaining accuracy in documentation.
- Familiarity with clinical procedures including vital signs measurement, specimen collection, X-ray operation (if certified), and basic life support certification (BLS).
- Strong communication skills coupled with a compassionate approach to patient care are vital for building trust and delivering outstanding service.
