Fleet Supervisor

Located in Spokane Valley, the Transportation Supervisor would provide support to the Transportation Manager while supervising dispatch and fleet drivers. Responsibilities:
- Supervise assigned department and personnel
- Assist team in exceeding budget contribution margins
- Engage in supporting driver safety and the safe operation of vehicles
- Supervise dispatch – train processes, tracking of equipment and efficient dispatching
- Provide operating reports to measure performance standards
- Participate in meeting regulatory compliance
- Conduct Performance Evaluations of all direct reporting personnel
- Equipment maintenance procurement – track costs; build and maintain vendor relations
- Participate in sales and customer relationships
- Ensure customer service excellence
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related fields a plus. Substantial work experience may substitute for a formal degree
- 2+ Years Transportation Leadership experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Stable work history
- Computer skills: Industry related software, Proficient with Excel, Word, Outlook
- Class A CDL a plus
Position Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Hours of Work: 7:00a.m.-4:00 p.m. or 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Salary Scale: $65,000 – $78,000 per year
