As part of this growth, we are seeking a Solution Architect / Technical Sales Engineer to partner closely with our U.S. Sales Director and support customers across manufacturing, energy, utilities, and other critical infrastructure sectors.
Job Summary
- Salary range: $100K–$150K base + bonus (OTE $160K–$220K)
- Location: Remote (Michigan residents only)
- Travel: ~40%, including customer onsite work and POCs

About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to become Salvador Tech's first U.S.-based Solution Architect, helping build our technical customer organization from the ground up.
You'll serve as the trusted technical partner throughout the customer lifecycle—from technical discovery and solution design to demonstrations, Proofs of Concept, implementation support, and ongoing customer success. Working closely with Sales, Product, and R&D, you'll help customers solve complex OT cybersecurity challenges while providing valuable feedback that shapes future product development.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer environments and business needs.
- Design and present solution architectures tailored to customer requirements.
- Deliver engaging technical demonstrations and presentations.
- Lead Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and support customer deployments.
- Troubleshoot technical issues remotely and onsite.
- Partner with Product and R&D to communicate customer feedback and enhancement requests.
- Support account growth by identifying expansion opportunities within existing customers.
- Build trusted relationships with CISOs, OT security leaders, plant managers, and technical stakeholders.
- Contribute technical expertise to RFP and RFI responses.
Qualifications
Required
- Currently reside in Michigan.
- Experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solution Architect, Sales Engineer, Technical Consultant, Solutions Engineer, or similar.
- Experience supporting OT/ICS cybersecurity, industrial networking, industrial automation, or related technologies.
- Working knowledge of industrial environments such as manufacturing, energy, utilities, water/wastewater, or other critical infrastructure sectors.
- Experience conducting technical discovery, customer demonstrations, solution design, or Proofs of Concept.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and executive audiences.
- Willingness to travel approximately 40%.
Preferred
- Experience with industrial cybersecurity platforms or cyber resilience solutions.
- Familiarity with industrial control systems (ICS), OT networks, industrial protocols, and OT cybersecurity best practices.
- Experience supporting enterprise software deployments in industrial environments.
