Early Childhood Education Teacher – Twos Classroom
Location: The Learning Experience – East Brunswick, NJ
Pay: $17–$18 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
The Learning Experience – East Brunswick is seeking a caring and dependable Early Childhood Education Teacher to support our Twos classroom. This role focuses on helping young learners build independence, communication skills, and social-emotional confidence through structured routines, hands-on learning, and engaging classroom experiences.
This position is ideal for educators who enjoy working with energetic young learners during an important stage of early development.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily classroom routines for 2-year-old children
- Implement developmentally appropriate learning activities and classroom centers
- Encourage language development, independence, and positive social interaction
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
- Guide children through transitions including meals, rest time, and group activities
- Communicate regularly with families regarding classroom updates and milestones
- Collaborate with teaching team members and center leadership
- Follow all New Jersey childcare licensing requirements and center policies
Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Prior childcare experience preferred
- Experience working with toddlers or twos a plus
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, patient, and nurturing approach to working with children
- Must meet New Jersey childcare licensing requirements
