Behavior Technician / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Little Journeys LLC is a BCBA-owned and operated ABA practice committed to providing high-quality, individualized services to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Behavior Technician or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) who is passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families. Whether you are already certified or just beginning your journey in the field, we provide ongoing clinical support, collaboration, and mentorship to help you succeed.
Responsibilities
● Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising BCBA.
● Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in home, daycare, and community settings.
● Collect accurate behavioral and skill acquisition data during each session.
● Teach communication, social, adaptive living, play, and daily living skills using evidence-based ABA interventions.
● Implement behavior reduction strategies and reinforcement procedures with fidelity.
● Communicate professionally with caregivers and the supervising BCBA regarding client progress and concerns.
● Complete session documentation accurately and within established timelines.
● Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and BACB ethical standards.
● Participate in ongoing supervision, training, and professional development.
Qualifications
● RBT certification preferred but not required. Applicants interested in obtaining certification are encouraged to apply.
● High school diploma or equivalent required.
● Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, developmental disabilities, or in special education is preferred but not required.
● Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client locations.
● Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
● Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the clinical team.
● Passion for helping children develop meaningful, lifelong skills.
Compensation
● Behavior Technicians may start at $19/hour.
● Higher rates available for certified RBTs based on experience.

Job Type: Part-Time. Evenings 5-6hr per week
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday
Work Location: Home (Dunellen)
Pay: $19.00 - $35.00 per hour
