SUMMARY:
Our client, a nationally recognized & prestigious law firm, is seeking a highly qualified and motivated mid-level associate for their Trademark, Copyright and Branding Practice Group. Ideal candidates will possess at least 2 to 5 years of legal experience in U.S. trademark clearance, prosecution, portfolio management, and TTAB work, copyright counseling, and trademark-specific litigation experience. Some international prosecution experience and licensing and acquisition agreement experience is preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conduct U.S. and international trademark clearance searches, prosecution, and maintenance.

Manage Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) proceedings and trademark litigation.

Advise clients on brand protection, domain name issues, and internet/e-commerce enforcement.

Draft and negotiate licensing and acquisition agreements; conduct IP due diligence for mergers.

Provide advice on copyright protection and related intellectual property matters.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have possess at least 2 to 5 years of legal experience in U.S. trademark clearance, prosecution, copyright counseling, and trademark-specific litigation.

J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar admission

Active Bar Membership in Good Standing within the State where Role is Located.

Must have experience with TTAB work, global portfolio management, and IP litigation is highly valued.
