Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Data Analyst (FGP) – Manhattan, Central Billing Office.
In this role, the successful candidate’s primary function is to provide financial and reporting support to the Faculty Group Practice (FGP) to achieve the organizations financial and operational goals. The analyst will work with several of teams to measure FGP performance, identify areas of improvement, and assist in managing project initiatives. This includes collaborating with Business Intelligence (IT), Revenue Cycle Systems (Epic), Corporate Management, and operational teams to maintain and manage data, reports, and reporting tools.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer science, mathematics, or business or the equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in healthcare or related field.
- Proficiency in common software systems. Knowledge of Tableau a plus.
- Proficiency and comfort with databases and manipulation of large data sets.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytics and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong interest in healthcare business.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $66,300.00 – $98,157.70 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
