American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel contract in an acute care setting, treating patients across outpatient, acute inpatient, and swing bed skilled units.

Acute care hospital setting with coverage across outpatient, acute inpatient, and swing bed skilled units
-
Average of 8 patients treated per day

Patient population consists primarily of outpatient cases, with additional acute inpatient and skilled swing bed patients
-
Charting is performed using MatrixCare/Matrix EMR
-
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; 9-hour shifts
-
No weekend or holiday coverage required

13-week contract
-
Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience preferred; new graduates may be considered as training is provided

Active PT license required if applicable; pending licenses are not accepted

Current BLS certification required; pending certifications are not accepted

Driver's license required for consideration

2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked, and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

Responsibilities include evaluation and treatment across outpatient, acute inpatient, and swing bed skilled settings

Department-specific orientation is provided (12 hours)

Professional casual attire required

No PT aides or PTAs on staff

Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit or affiliated facility within the past year are not eligible; candidates who worked PRN through outside firms will be considered

This position is open to first-time travelers, as training is provided
