Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, and building interior components to ensure optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues using schematics, electrical equipment repair techniques, and tools such as ohmmeters.
- Conduct plumbing repairs including pipe repairs, fixture replacements, and system maintenance to prevent disruptions.
- Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and schematics to diagnose complex mechanical or electrical problems.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and perform maintenance painting or carpentry tasks to uphold facility standards.
- Oversee facilities equipment maintenance including MRO (maintenance, repair & operations) supplies using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Supervise junior maintenance staff or contractors when necessary, providing leadership and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Maintain detailed records of all repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Respond promptly to guest or staff maintenance requests with excellent customer service skills to resolve issues efficiently.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance within a hospitality or manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience; familiarity with HVAC system repair is essential.
- Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams related to building systems.
- Skilled in plumbing system maintenance and repair as well as residential painting and carpentry tasks.
- Experience working with CMMS software for work order management.
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical equipment repair, welding techniques, and use of hand tools.
- Ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals accurately.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration.
- Supervising or leadership experience is preferred to coordinate team efforts effectively.
