Neyenesch Printers is a premier commercial printing company serving Southern California and national clients with high-quality print production, packaging, and specialty UV printing solutions.
Neyenesch Printers is seeking a motivated and dependable Feeder Operator to support production on our Heidelberg XL106 UV Press. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and feeding stock, maintaining production efficiency, supporting the press crew, and ensuring the safe and accurate operation of pressroom equipment.
Schedule
- Day Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- Monday through Friday
- Occasional weekday or weekend overtime (Approx. 20%) as required to meet production schedules
Compensation
$22.00 – $28.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Load and feed paper stock into the Heidelberg XL106 UV Press.
- Verify paper, coatings, and substrates against job specifications.
- Assist press operator with makereadies and production runs.
- Maintain consistent stock flow and press efficiency.
- Monitor print materials and remove defective sheets when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
- Assist with inventory movement and material handling as needed.
- Participate in preventative maintenance and press cleanup.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial printing, manufacturing, or pressroom operations preferred.
- Experience with sheetfed offset presses is a plus.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Dependable attendance and positive team attitude.
- Forklift experience is a plus.
