R&M Trucking Co. is a family owned and operated company that has proudly served the local air and ocean freight forwarding, as well as common carrier LTL service industry for the past 45 years! We are looking for a candidate has some experience within the industry as a CFS Export Agent, but more importantly is a fast learner, and eager to get started in a stable company within the industry for a long-term career.
Job Responsibilities: CFS Export (Air) Specialist
- Become familiar with and ensure compliance with TSA, customs, and all other government operating procedures.
- Maintain strong customer and vendor relationships through clear and accurate communication.
- Receive, review, and process export documentation (airway bills, insurance certificates, customs invoices, etc.), verifying for accuracy, and completness.
- Promptly respond to customer inquiries via phone and email about shipments and orders, and enter data from various source documents into the computer system for storage, processing, and data management purposes.
- Provide proactive updates to customers upon any delays or changes to their shipments.
- Occasionally going out into our company warehouse to locate freight and verify information, and to screen freight for TSA compliance.
- Assist in handling and resolving freight claims.
Required Skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Avability to occasionaly work outside of normal schedule, such as on weekends or holidays.
- Experience in trucking/logistics industry preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
- Professionalism, patience, and "people-first" attitude.
- Familiarity with MS Office and data programs.
- Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures.
- High school diploma

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
