Kaas Industries is a CNC Swiss precision machining and turning job shop based in Franklin Park, IL. In business since 1996 and ISO 9001:2015 certified, we produce high-precision turned components for OEMs and distributors across the Midwest and beyond.
We are looking for a results-driven Sales Manager to grow our customer base and own the full sales cycle.
What You'll Do
- Identify, prospect, and win new OEM and distributor accounts that outsource precision turned components
- Manage and grow relationships with existing customers
- Quote and follow up on RFQs in coordination with our estimating and production teams
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline; track activity and forecast accurately
- Represent Kaas at trade shows, customer visits, and industry events
- Work cross-functionally with engineering and quality to ensure customer requirements are met
- Develop and execute a territory and account growth strategy
What You'll Bring
- Industrial sales experience is required — 3+ years of B2B sales in a manufacturing, industrial, or technical products environment, selling to OEMs, distributors, or contract manufacturers
- CNC machining or similar experience is preferred — familiarity with precision machining, Swiss turning, CNC turning, or contract manufacturing will help you ramp quickly
- Working knowledge of machining processes, prints, and tolerances (GD&T a strong plus)
- Proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets
- Strong prospecting, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Comfort reading customer drawings and understanding technical requirements
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage a pipeline independently
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for customer visits as needed
