**Position Summary:**
HyltonWellness is Mental Health Private Practice that serves it community with virtual and in person service such as medication management and brief psycotherapy. We are a new practice growing our case load.
We are seeking a Supervising Physician.
The Supervising Physician is a pivotal role within the Mental Health Care department, responsible for overseeing chart of healthcare provider, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and fostering an environment of continuous improvement and professional development. We hire clinical care professionals who deliver care using telemedicine modalities including video, phone, connected devices, and asynchronous messages (chat/email).
The Physician will collaborate asynchronously with a single advanced practice clinician to conduct patient chart audits per applicable regulations, delegate prescriptive authority, etc. They will need to fulfill any federal/state-specific requirements as a collaborator. The role requires confidence in clinical decision-making while adhering to our evidence-based clinical guidelines, as well as the ability to properly evaluate, assess, document and appropriately intervene as necessary.
As a contracted provider, hours are incredibly flexible. We are a seven days-a-week operation offering providers the flexibility to set their own recurring schedules within any combination of days and hours. The number of hours dedicated to this role will vary based on time to review charts.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Clinical Oversight:**
- Supervise and provide guidance to a mental health nurse practitioner.
- Conduct regular reviews of patient care plans, treatment protocols, and clinical outcomes.
2. **Quality Assurance:**
- Implement and monitor quality assurance initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to enhance the professional growth of team member.
**Qualifications:**
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Psychiatry or related field.
- Valid medical license to practice in Georgia.
- Strong knowledge of mental health laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines.
-Must possess active, non-restrictive medical licensure in multiple state.
-MUST have a current DEA
-Licensed to practice in good standing
-Must have no history of malpractice
