Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a pleasant dining experience for our guests during breakfast hours. This role involves food preparation, maintaining cleanliness in the dining area, and providing exceptional customer service. The Breakfast Attendant will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring that all food safety standards are met.
Duties
- Prepare and present breakfast items according to established recipes and standards.
- Set up and replenish the breakfast buffet, ensuring all items are fresh and appealing.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations.
- Assist guests with their needs, providing excellent customer service and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Perform bussing duties to clear tables promptly and maintain a tidy environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and service.
- Handle cash transactions accurately when necessary, utilizing POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Support catering events as needed, ensuring high-quality service for guests.
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen experience or food service background is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on guest relations and customer service.
- Experience with food preparation, cooking, and meal presentation is advantageous.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS).
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in hospitality roles such as host/host or barista is a plus.
- Strong cleaning skills with an emphasis on maintaining hygiene standards in the dining area.
