Job Summary
Join our team as a Dishwasher/Busser and become a vital part of delivering exceptional dining experiences! Duties
- Efficiently wash dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment following proper food safety sanitizing procedures
- Assist with bussing tables by clearing plates, silverware, and glassware promptly to maintain a clean dining space
- Support food preparation tasks as directed, including basic ingredient handling and setup for service
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly, adhering to all health and safety standards
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of dish racks, supplies, or trash disposal with proper technique
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, dining areas, and storage spaces through regular cleaning routines
- Follow sanitation protocols to ensure compliance with food safety management standards and restaurant health regulations
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and kitchen health and safety standards is advantageous
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking
- Able to use stairs
- Familiarity with operating basic kitchen equipment such as dishwashers or prep tools is a plus
- Strong attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout shifts
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues and guests
