American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Night Shift Nursing Coordinator (Administration) position, requiring ACLS, BLS, and a BSN at minimum with experience at a comparable large hospital facility.

Hospital administration/nursing coordinator role focused on patient throughput and bed management
-
Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)

4 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule period

One winter holiday and one summer holiday required, with coverage including both the eve and the day of the holiday

No floating or on-call requirements

Active DC RN license required

Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

BSN required (minimum)

CCRN or CNL certification preferred

Experience at a comparable large-facility size (500+ bed facility) required

SSN and DOB required for consideration

One professional reference required for consideration

Serves as the primary operational lead for hospital-wide patient flow and throughput on the assigned shift

Facilitates centralized bed management, coordinating ED admits, direct admits, and surgical admits to maximize inpatient bed utilization and reduce turnaround delays

Communicates continuously with leadership and staff across all hospital units and departments to ensure alignment with the daily patient flow plan
