Overview

Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure quality.
- Participate in catering events as needed, providing excellent service to guests.
- Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry or dietary department is preferred.
- Familiarity with various cooking techniques and equipment used in a commercial kitchen.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations related to food handling.
- Strong culinary skills with an emphasis on food preparation and presentation.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
