**SEEKING MOTIVATED AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN DISPATCHER
Job description:
Ensures that repair orders are correctly and efficiently distributed to qualified technicians. Communicates any possible delays in repair assignments directly to supervisor in order to maintain flow for a seamless transition to customer.

Job Duties:
- Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state and local regulations that affect service operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know etc.
- Understands and ensures compliance with manufacturer warranty and policy procedures.
- Ensures that all repairs are assigned to technicians in an equal and fair manner.
- Checks progress of each repair order throughout the day.
- Maintains high-quality service repairs and minimizes comebacks. Conducts periodic spot checks of completed jobs for thoroughness and quality.
- Accounts for all documents; ensures that none are missing, and all are processed correctly.
- Communicates with Service Management.
- Monitors technicians' daily productivity reports and corresponding payroll records.
- Monitors shop condition, including cleanliness, safety, and the condition of shop equipment. Reports problems to the service manager or dealer.
- Attends managers meetings as requested.
- Strives for harmony and teamwork within the department and with all other departments.
- Maintains safe work environment.
MARGINAL DUTIES:
- Maintains professional appearance.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to work in weather conditions, this position requires you to be indoors and outdoors frequently throughout the day
- Ability to lift 50lbs and work with and around machinery
- Ability to stand, bend or reach for extended periods of time
- Exposure to loud noises, chemicals, and fumes from vehicles
Qualifications:
- Strong logistics and dispatching skills
- Excellent communication and phone etiquette
- Proficient in typing and data entry
- Experience with transportation management systems, including Tekion Management
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $74,000.00 - $122,000.00 per year
