Position Overview
G&G Outfitters is seeking a highly skilled, dependable, and energetic Maintenance Mechanic specializing in M&R Screen Printing Machines to join our Production team in Lanham, MD. In this vital role, you will help ensure the optimal performance, safety, and reliability of our production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This position is responsible for maintaining seamless production operations through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery and facility equipment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, proactive, and takes pride in minimizing downtime while supporting operational efficiency across the facility.
While experience with M&R screen printing equipment is strongly preferred, candidates with related industrial maintenance or manufacturing equipment experience are encouraged to apply.
Work Environment
- Fast-paced, high-volume warehouse and production facility
- Active, hands-on manufacturing environment

- Hours: 6:00am to 3:00pm, Monday through Friday
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and emergency repairs on M&R screen printing machines and related production equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic system issues
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and mechanical drawings to troubleshoot equipment problems effectively
- Maintain and calibrate equipment using electrical testing and precision measuring tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters
- Assist with PLC-related troubleshooting and support industrial electrical systems as needed
- Document maintenance activities, track parts and supplies, and schedule preventative maintenance
- Respond quickly to equipment downtime and production needs to minimize operational disruptions
- Safely operate equipment such as scissor lifts to access machinery and elevated maintenance areas
- Collaborate closely with production teams to support efficiency, quality, and workflow continuity
- Maintain organized work areas and follow all safety procedures and company protocols
Qualifications & Attributes
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or production facility environments
- Experience working with M&R screen printing equipment strongly preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve independently
- Working knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
- Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting and industrial electrical systems preferred
- Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and mechanical drawings accurately
- Reliable, punctual, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and remain active throughout the workday
- Industrial maintenance certifications or related technical training are a plus

Pay: $22.00 per hour
