Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced MES Program Manager to lead and govern Manufacturing Execution System (MES) initiatives aligned to the Ponce Manufacturing site. This role requires strong project/program leadership, cross-functional coordination, and experience delivering MES implementations in regulated manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will be bilingual (Spanish/English) and capable of managing complex integrations, budgets, vendors, and enterprise stakeholders from planning through go-live and hypercare.
Required Qualifications
Fluent in Spanish and English (written and verbal)
Practical experience leading and managing execution of technical projects or operational initiatives
Advanced knowledge of project/program management methodologies and governance
Experience managing cross-functional enterprise initiatives with downstream organizational impacts
Ability to manage budgets, schedules, risks, dependencies, and vendor deliverables
Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
Experience working in manufacturing or regulated environments preferred
Ability to travel bi-weekly to Ponce, Puerto Rico (if not local)
Roles & Responsibilities
Provide overall program leadership and governance for MES initiatives, including objectives, success metrics, operating cadence, and escalation paths
Plan, execute, and monitor MES projects from initiation through delivery, managing integrated schedules, dependencies, risks, and outcomes across cross-functional teams
Serve as the primary liaison between project teams, site leadership, functional partners, and vendors to ensure alignment and timely decision-making
Manage financial and resource aspects of the program including budgets, forecasts, SOW execution, vendor performance, and resource allocation
Assess complex project issues and develop effective resolutions to meet productivity, quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction goals
Lead risk, issue, and change management activities ensuring adherence to PMO, quality, and enterprise standards
Provide executive-level status reporting including progress, risks, milestones, and financials
Drive continuous improvement across delivery processes, tools, and execution consistency
Capture lessons learned and implement best practices for future MES initiatives
Preferred Experience
End-to-end MES program delivery (planning ? go-live ? hypercare)
Experience with Critical Manufacturing (CM MES)
MES deployment in regulated manufacturing environments (validation, compliance, eDHR)
MES integrations with ERP and shop-floor systems
Vendor/SOW management experience
Experience with manufacturing equipment connectivity and automation systems
