Duties
- Lead the development and management of project schedules using Primavera P6 and other project management software to ensure timely delivery of school expansion projects.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to develop comprehensive construction plans and budgets.
- Oversee construction estimating processes utilizing HeavyBid and Civil 3D to accurately forecast project costs and resource requirements.
- Manage construction site activities, ensuring adherence to safety standards, regulatory compliance, and quality control measures.
- Review construction plans and blueprints thoroughly to ensure accuracy and alignment with project specifications.
- Monitor project progress through regular site visits, progress reports, and schedule updates; adjust plans proactively to mitigate delays.
- Lead contract negotiations and manage contractual obligations with vendors, subcontractors, and consultants.
- Facilitate effective communication among project teams to coordinate construction schedule activities seamlessly.
- Ensure all projects comply with local construction regulations and environmental standards while managing project budgets effectively.
- Provide leadership in managing teams across multiple projects, fostering collaboration and accountability from inception to completion.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction management within the education or infrastructure sectors; experience with school or large-scale public projects is highly desirable.
- Strong proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, ProCore, Construction management software, and other relevant tools.
- Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, construction plans, and technical drawings accurately.
- Extensive knowledge of construction scheduling, cost management, contract administration, and regulatory compliance.
- Hands-on experience managing construction sites with a focus on safety protocols and quality assurance.
- Skilled in managing complex infrastructure projects from initial planning through completion while coordinating multiple stakeholders effectively.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Strong leadership qualities with experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment; excellent communication skills are essential.
- Familiarity with civil engineering software such as Civil 3D is a plus; knowledge of Primavera P6 is required.
- A background in commercial construction or public infrastructure development will be advantageous.

Pay: $56,323.64 - $67,830.63 per year
