Position Summary
The Dental Office Manager is responsible for the overall administrative and operational efficiency of the practice. This role ensures smooth day-to-day operations, excellent patient experience, financial performance, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the dental office
- Manage front desk team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Coordinate scheduling to maximize productivity and patient satisfaction
- Monitor accounts receivable, billing, and insurance claims processing
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and state regulations
- Manage payroll, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Maintain inventory and order office supplies
- Address patient concerns and resolve conflicts professionally
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures
- Support marketing initiatives and patient retention strategies
Qualifications
- 2+ years of dental office management experience preferred
- Knowledge of dental insurance, billing, and coding
- Proficiency with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
