Ramona Convent Secondary School, located in Alhambra, California, is accepting resumes for a Pep Squad Coach, beginning in August 2026 for the 2026-2027 school year. The role of the Pep Squad Coach is to promote school spirit and encouragement of athletic teams. Ramona Convent Secondary School sees the role of the Pep Squad Coach as being someone who, in addition to having a high level of knowledge in coaching the sport of cheerleading, can teach and model all the aspects of our school charism. Ideally it will be someone who can coach our young women in demonstrating an appreciation for their school yet help them keep a balance in all aspects of their lives, spiritually, socially, mentally and physically. A Pep Squad promotes school spirit, school pride, and encourages the members of the athletic teams. Their involvement and enthusiasm in the Ramona Convent community helps other students feel a part of the community. Promoting positive teamwork, positive interactions amongst teammates, modeling sportsmanship and fan involvement at games and rallies are viewed as important aspects of being a Pep Squad member.
Pep squad is expected to practice after school a couple times per week and attend various home games to show support and school pride.
