Responsibilities
- Clear and reset tables efficiently to maintain a steady flow of seating during busy hours
- Assist servers by bussing dishes, glassware, and silverware promptly to keep service seamless
- Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, including sweeping floors, wiping down tables, and sanitizing surfaces regularly
- Support food handling procedures by adhering to safety and hygiene standards in accordance with health regulations
- Help with setting up and breaking down dining spaces for special events or catering functions
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate timely table turnovers and guest needs
- Ensure all restaurant areas are tidy, organized, and welcoming at all times
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, including bussing or serving roles, is advantageous
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with food handling or kitchen support roles enhances your suitability for this position
- Prior hotel or catering experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory
