Duties
- Prepare and cook breakfast and lunch menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
- Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and assembling ingredients efficiently
- Maintain proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met at all times
- Assist with menu planning to incorporate seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including grills, ovens, knives, and other culinary tools
- Ensure timely service by managing multiple orders simultaneously in a busy environment
- Support food presentation to enhance visual appeal and customer satisfaction
- Follow all food safety regulations and sanitation practices to uphold health standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience cooking breakfast and lunch on a grill
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen safety protocols
- Excellent knife skills and ability to handle various kitchen tools confidently
- Familiarity with menu planning, catering, and meal assembly processes
- Prior experience working in fine dining or high-volume restaurant settings preferred
- Knowledge of dietary department requirements and dietary accommodations is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Commitment to food safety standards and proper food handling practices
- Working at a fast pace.
