Becker Global America / SMC is seeking a motivated and experienced Quality Process & Safety Coordinator to lead quality assurance, workplace safety, compliance, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives throughout our manufacturing operation.
This is a hands-on position requiring active involvement on the production floor, working directly with operations, engineering, and production teams to improve quality, enhance safety, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive operational excellence. The successful candidate will be a self-starter capable of working independently while managing multiple priorities and projects

Responsibilities
- Lead and perform regular quality audits to evaluate adherence to established quality control procedures and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop, implement, and monitor quality assurance programs aligned with industry standards and company policies.
- Conduct thorough quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process to ensure products meet specifications and safety requirements.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to product quality, process performance, and safety metrics to inform decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues promptly, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, audit findings, non-conformance reports, and safety incidents to support compliance efforts.
- Promote a culture of quality management by training staff on quality systems, safety protocols, and best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience in quality audits, quality control, or quality assurance within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems (QMS), QA/QC processes, and safety regulations.
- Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret data accurately and identify trends or issues swiftly.
- Familiarity with conducting quality inspections and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with teams at all levels and document findings clearly.
- Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
