Position Overview:
As the St. Cecilia Preschool Wraparound Childcare Director, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and enriching environment for the preschool aged children. You will be responsible for supervising childcare staff, preschool-age children, planning and implementing activities, and maintaining a clean and organized classroom area. The position is currently a school year position, but we would be open to a summer program in the potential future.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children in your care.

Plan and implement the daily plans and activities.

Foster positive communication with children, parents, and fellow staff.

Organize and lead age-appropriate activities, meals, and routines.

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards, including handwashing supervision.

Maintain program site and equipment.

Provide guidance for children’s behavior.

Other duties or tasks as designated by the management team.

Adhere to all policies and standards set by St. Cecilia Catholic School, the Archdiocese of Dubuque, and the Department of Human Services.
