Will provide emotional and psychological support to children and their families

Will provide psychoeducation about development, trauma and strategies that support the child's emotional wellbeing to caregivers

Strong crisis intervention skills

Knowledge of community resources and services

Ability to work in an emotionally demanding environment

Knowledge of child welfare and protection law

Required: Master's Degree in Social Work (LISW, LMSW) or a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license

Preferred: Experience working with children under the age of 14.

Preferred: At least 2 years' experience and specialized training working with young children

Preferred: Experience in EPIC but not required
