Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in painting, with experience in both automotive and general applications. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on various projects.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary.
- Apply paint using airless paint spraying techniques and other methods as required.
- Perform auto body repairs and vehicle maintenance as needed.
- Utilize hand tools and equipment effectively to achieve desired results.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their needs and preferences.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining quality standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in painting, preferably in an automotive or industrial setting.
- Strong ability to match colors, sometimes using custom formulas.
- Experience with both water and solvent based paints is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience with vehicle maintenance are advantageous.
- Experience with airless paint spraying equipment is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients.
