Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). As a PACU Nurse, you will play a crucial role in the recovery of patients following surgical procedures.
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 9am-7pm
hours variable from 24-30 per week
Wage negotiable based on experience
Responsibilities:
- Monitor post-operative patients' vital signs and condition
- Administer medications and manage pain control
- Assess patients' needs and provide appropriate care
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Prepare patients for discharge and provide education on post-operative care
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
Experience:
- Prior experience in PACU or critical care setting preferred
- Proficiency in specimen collection processing
- Familiarity with Epic electronic health records system
- Experience working in clinics, nursing homes, or outpatient settings
- Knowledge of medical records management
