We are currently looking for a Plant Operator to operate all plant equipment efficiently to meet production goals and customer expectations.
Responsibilities Include:
- Follow all plant safety requirements established to protect employees and company assets.
- Will be required to work efficiently in all areas of production include but not limited to: receiving, shipping, batching, drying, bagging, stacking, and forklift operation.
- Operate plant equipment within established procedures.
- Follow product quality assurance requirements as outlined in the QC manual to protect employees and company assets.
- Complete all necessary production recordkeeping in a timely manner.
- Support all production equipment to ensure smooth operations & maintain clean tools.
- Follow all established plant housekeeping requirements.
- Communicate any Quality, Maintenance, or Safety issues.
- Contribute to the team environment by sharing ideas towards continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic math skills
- Basic knowledge of Mechanical, electrical helpful
- Time management and organizational skill
- Must speak English
Physical Requirements:
- Lift 60 lbs. -Frequently
- Carry 60 lbs. -Occasionally
- Bend/Stoop - Frequently
- Climb/Work at Heights - Occasionally
- Reach above Shoulder level – Frequently
- Push/Pull – Frequently
- Squat/Crouch - Frequently
- Endure extreme hot and cold conditions – seasonally
Work Schedule:
- Must be willing to work 1st, 2nd, and/or 3rd shifts.
- Must be willing to work a temporary assignment, alternative schedule or shift as requested by a supervisor.
- Non-exempt employees are required to work all scheduled weekend or overtime shifts when the need arises.
