Duties
- Prepare and bake a variety of delicious baked goods, including pastries, cinnamon rolls, breakfast dishes, following established recipes and standards.
- Putting extra care into every bake ensuring consistency and both look and taste.
- Managing your own workflow in an offsite commercial kitchen.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including mixers, ovens, knives, and other bakery tools.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace by regularly cleaning surfaces, utensils, and equipment to uphold food safety standards.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure the safety and quality of all baked goods.
- Support high-volume production during busy periods while adhering to recipe specifications and quality controls.
Experience
- Previous experience in baking or pastry preparation is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated skills in scratch baking and food production techniques.
- Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety management practices within a commercial kitchen environment.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and ingredient adjustments.
- Strong customer service skills to engage positively with customers and teammates when needed.
