About the Role
We’re hiring a driven, customer-focused Account Manager (Sales) to generate mostly new business for our State Farm agency. This role focuses on identifying opportunities, following up with leads, building relationships, and helping customers find the right coverage. Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and generate new business by calling, texting, emailing, and following up on inbound/outbound leads
- Schedule and conduct coverage conversations/appointments with prospective customers
- Quote, explain, and sell Auto/Home and other insurance products based on customer needs
- Meet or exceed monthly sales/activity goals (quoting, appointments, policy placements—set by agency)
- Build strong relationships with prospects and new policyholders; provide a smooth onboarding experience
- Collaborate with the agency team to support growth goals and improve conversion rates
- Maintain accurate records in the agency management/CRM system
- Stay current on State Farm products, underwriting basics, and agency processes
- Ensure compliance with all licensing, privacy, and marketing guidelines
Qualifications
- Strong sales skills and the ability to build rapport quickly
- Previous experience in insurance sales, customer service, or a goal-driven sales role preferred
- Ability to work leads consistently and follow a structured activity plan
- Comfortable learning agency systems and using CRM/documentation tools
- Strong organization and follow-through
- Willingness to obtain/maintain required insurance licensing (if not already licensed)
Preferred Skills
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) and/or Life/Health license
- Experience with lead follow-up, appointment setting, and/or consultative selling
- Proven ability to meet sales targets and track results

Work Schedule
- Full-time schedule (8:30am-5:00pm; Monday–Friday)
Pay: $45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
